1. How do I withdraw money from Packed?
Go to your Profile tab and tap Cash Out. You can withdraw to a debit card, bank account, PayPal, or Venmo (all subject to availability). You’ll need to complete identity verification first — you must be 18+, have a government-issued ID, and pass a liveness check.
2. How long does identity verification take?
Verification usually takes around 24 hours. If it has been more than 48 hours, contact us via the Customer Support button in the Account tab of the Packed app or email us at support@playpacked.com.
3. How long will my withdrawal take?
Instant withdrawals average about 10 minutes. Bank transfers may take up to 3 business days.
4. Do I owe taxes on card sale gains?
Yes, you are responsible for taxes on any gains from card sales. Once you exceed $600 in a year, Packed will collect your tax information and issue forms at year-end. Withdrawals above $600 are paused until your tax forms are complete.
5. My identity verification failed. What now?
Verification is handled by our third-party provider, Coinflow. Failed verifications go to manual review. If manual review doesn’t pass, you’ll need to submit notarized identity documents. Without approved verification, you won’t be able to withdraw or ship cards.
6. Why can't I withdraw my full balance?
Packed applies purchase and withdrawal limits to prevent fraud and comply with payment processor requirements. The minimum withdrawal is $5. Your limits may increase over time based on your transaction history.

8. How is Fair Market Value (FMV) calculated?
Packed uses a semi-automated proprietary system to determine FMV. Factors include but are not limited to: rarity, previous sales, comparable sales, market dynamics, professional grading, provenance, authenticity, average time-to-sale, and signatures or notable additions.
FMV updates automatically as market data changes and is not guaranteed to remain stable. Packed makes no representation that its FMV matches any external market calculation.
9. What is Packed's 100% Buyback Guarantee?
Packed will buy back any card in your inventory at the current FMV for at least 7 days from your purchase date. After 7 days, Packed may withdraw the offer. The guarantee can be changed with 7 days’ notice via an update to this FAQ and the Terms of Use.
10. Why can't I ship my cards?
Shipping requires completed identity verification. If your verification is pending or hasn’t been started, you won’t be able to ship.
11. Do I pay sales tax on shipping?
Yes. Applicable sales tax is charged at the time of shipment and debited from your Packed account balance before the shipment is released.
12. What shipping options are available?
The only shipping option we offer includes tracking. You may add insurance at your discretion.
13. Who is responsible for shipping costs?
You are responsible for all shipping costs. For cards with an FMV below $1,000, insurance is optional. For cards with an FMV of $1,000 or more, insurance is required before shipment. Once Packed hands your package to the carrier, responsibility transfers to the shipping company.
14. What if my package didn't arrive or was damaged?
Packed is not responsible for packages once delivered to the carrier (except in cases of inventory error). For lost or damaged shipments, contact the carrier directly. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance for valuable cards.
15. What if I received the wrong card?
Check your tracking info and the card you received. If there’s a mismatch, report it via Customer Support in the Profile tab. Please note: Packed digitally tracks every shipment. Unsubstantiated inventory error claims may result in account termination.
